To provide a public forum and to give wider exposure to performing Artists, IRCEN organizes 2-day festival of dance & music ‘PRAVAH’ at Cochin (Kerala) on 1st & 2nd January, Panaji (Goa) on 5th & 6th September and Jodhpur (Rajasthan) on 26th & 27th February, Himachal Pradesh in October, Jamnagar (Gujarat) in November each year. Eminent performing artists namely Padmashree Darshana Jhaveri (Manipuri), Padmashree Meenakshi Chitharanjan (Bharatnatyam), Sharmila Biswas (Odissi), Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy (Bharatnatyam), Ipsita Behoora (Odissi), Mamta Maharaj (Kathak), Abdul Hamid Sabri (Qawali) have presented their recitals in the festival ‘PRAVAH’. In the forthcoming years the festival is expected to make headways to other States of the country as well.

 
With a view to expose the urban audience to colourful and vibrant folk culture of India, IRCEN presents Folk Fest-Grameen Sitaare in its open air theatre. Programme of folk dances & music of different States such as Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Karnataka are presented by the Folk artists of these States invited by IRCEN from time to time.
